The Friends of Parkinson’s Funny Bunny Race For Parkinson’s is set for 8 a.m. April 4 at Bruce Trent Park, 8851 Vegas Drive. Find eggs along the trail, and runners and walkers will receive race day T-shirts and goody bags. Kids can enjoy a bunny hop for eggs, a petting zoo, bounce houses and face painting. A 30-minute, pre-race dynamic stretch will start the event. Proceeds go to Friends of Parkinson’s, nonprofit benefiting patients affected by Parkinson’s disease. Registration is $40 for the 5K fun run, $25 for the 1-mile fun walk and $10 for the Bunny Hop Sponsored with a free T-shirt for ages 10 or younger. The unsponsored Bunny Hop is free.
